Lizzy took this photograph.
I thought this would be a good picture to apply this filter [blur] to because it has bright colors. The soybeans turned out really bright and the tree got a lot darker. I like how the sky looks.

  1. I really like the vibrant yellow in this photo and the large tree to the right. I do focus on the yellow more than the tree though. The depth if field was done nicely and so was the rule of thirds. This photo makes me want to run through a field of flowers. :)

  3. I really like the light blue of the sky and then the bright yellow of the soy beans. The rule of thirds is shown through the tree and I like how you can see the shadow of the tree on the soy beans.

  4. Lizzy! I really like this picture. The lighting is really good and the colors are really pretty. You did a really good job with the rule of thirds, and I like the sky, it looks cool the way the clouds are. You did a really nice job capturing this photo.

  6. I love this photo Lizzy! You used the rule of thirds very well with the tree off-set to the right. I like the contrast of the yellow field against the blue sky. Also, I like the way the tree got a lot darker when you applied the blur filter because it makes the tree the focal point. Nice job!

  7. This photo is cleaver on two parts, one is the complementary colors that enhance each other, and then you have a dark tree making the focal point. You have the rule of two thirds good however the horizon is right in the middle.
